I really should have started a build thread a while ago. I had been listing my mods in my signature, but there's a 500 character limit and my mod list has exceeded that.

The car is a 2016 S4 6MT In Mythos Black with Sports Diff, B&O, Carbon Atlas Trim, and Tech Package.

    Here's my mod list...

    Go-fast mods:

    USP Stainless Braided Clutch Line
    AWE Touring Exhaust

    Track Stuff:
    Neuspeed RSe10 Wheels - 19x9 et40 (primary set) with Hoosier R7 265/35/19 Tires
    Neuspeed RSe102 Wheels - 19x9 et40 (backup set) with Hoosier R7 265/35/19 Tires
    VMR V810 Wheels - 19x8.5 et35 with Bridgestone RE-71R 255/35/19 Tires
    Naca Ducts
    Macan Air Scoops
    AP Racing Radi-CAL 370mm J-hook Rotors
    AP Racing Radi-CAL 6-piston Calipers
AP Racing Stainless Braided Brake Lines
    Macan Dust Shields

Almost all of the work was done by Crown Motorsports in St. Petersburg, FL. The quality of work they do is top notch and their customer service is unbeatable. If anyone in the Tampa Bay Area is looking for somewhere to get work done, definitely go see Evan and his crew.

Most of the pictures I have are crappy iPhone shots. Here are some of the better ones in chronological order, except for the first two. Those will always be the latest pictures - one will be the street setup and the other will be the track setup.

The night I picked it up. Parked next to the '14 S4 I traded in

Still stock other than APR stage 1

Coilovers installed. Sorry for the shitty quality pictures.

AluKreuz, Sway Bars, and Intake installed

AWE Touring exhaust w/ stock downpipes

Paint Correction, XPel, and Ceramic Coating complete

    APR Pulley and Stage 2

    AMS Alpha cooler installed

(I don't have these pictures on my phone. And for some reason I'm having an issue downloading them from my Photobucket account. Maybe I'll have to use my desktop instead of my phone. I'll give that a shot later )

JHM Stage 4 clutch and lightweight flywheel

Removed JHM Stage 4 clutch and replaced with Stage 5R clutch. Had to replace the flywheel friction liner as well.

Loaded on a trailer for my first ever HPDE. Went to Sebring International Raceway. Unfortunately U-Haul didn't properly maintain their trailer. A piece of metal was sticking up and pulled/ripped off my front bumper when I backed the car off.

RS4 Style bumper and grille (since the stock one was damaged), Killer Chiller, and custom brake ducting. I wanted to put scoops where the fog lights were, but there wasn't enough room after the Alpha cooler reservoir/pump and Killer Chiller. So we went with NACA ducts in the belly pan.

Switched from APR to GIAC Stage 2 with Stock, 93, and Race files. So I bought some MS109.

    VMR track wheels

Vorsteiner V-FF 101 wheels (custom Brushed Copper painted finish). Also had the Audi rings, Supercharged Badges, and S4 Badge painted to match.

Thanks. I didn't plan on doing this much, but once the mod bug hits there's no stopping. Thankfully there aren't really many more things I can do to the car.

Upgraded cooling. It helps keep the supercharger cooler which in turn reduces IATs.

you went all-in bud !! very nice.. now you need that DP tune and you could add the new 034 rear subframe insert.. Beside that, you pretty much bought the whole B8.5 S4 catalogue of aftermarket part LOL!!
S4 B8.5 no track, just enjoying spirited driving.

No. I bought a 186mm KustomImports pulley. There was an issue with some of the holes not lining up properly. So I'm waiting for them to send me a new one. I should have it this week.

Dual pulley is happening this week. I didn't know 034 had rear subframe inserts. I guess I'll be buying them.

    Edit: Subframe inserts ordered.

I'm curious to hear about your reasons for switching from APR to GIAC. How would you compare the drivability and power of each?

Mod-wise, this is literally a twin to my car.

Still waiting to install my AMS Alpha (this week) and 382mm brakes (probably in a few weeks once they get back from powdercoat).

How do you like the killerchiller? I kicked around picking one up but haven't convinced myself that it's necessary. I never do HPDE, just go 1/4 running.

It was for a few reasons. I was having an issue with the tune where I was getting a surge of power in first gear at 4000rpm, but only under partial throttle. It happened on both stage 1 & 2, but didn't happen on a stock file. It was beyond frustrating trying to get APR to fix the problem. It appears to be isolated to 2016 6mt cars. Also, GIAC makes more power with their tunes and I'll be able to have true dual pulley software when the pulley goes on next week.

Actually, killer chiller is more of a 1/4 mile mod. Mine isn't 100% working yet. If you buy it, skip the optional track bypass valve. Mine sticks and blocks the freon completely. I've heard it's a common issue. I'm having it removed when I take the car in on Monday. Other than that it's a great system. It helps big time with heat soak. So you don't have to let the car cool for an hour between runs at the track. Loe was seeing IATs in the 20-30 degree celcius just range this past weekend. Plus this AWE coolant reservoir was cold to the touch. It's definitely worth the cost if you go to the track regularly.

I can take some later, but it won't show much. The interior looks 100% stock. The only thing noticeable is the dash cam. All the buttons I have used are factory Audi buttons that I wired into various electronics.

I love the clutch and flywheel. The flywheel, like basically any lightweight flywheel, makes the throttle more responsive. I can definitely hear a decent amount of chatter from the outside of the car. And a bit more vibration inside as well.

The clutch grabs and I have not had any slip at all. And I have definitely abused it way more than I did the stock clutch. Pedal travel feels stock. The pedal is a bit firmer, but nothing crazy. The engagement point is close to factory. The issue I'm having is launching the car. When the clutch grabs, it really grabs. So I've been experiencing wheel spin at the drag strip. It's just a matter of adjusting how I slip the clutch when launching. I think a few more attempts and I'll have it. When I did a HPDE last month, it performed perfectly. And during that type of driving it felt perfect. In traffic it may be a different experience though. Since the S4 isn't my daily I have yet to drive it in any heavy or even moderate traffic.

If I had to do it all over again I'd make the same choice. No regrets at all with this setup.

This happens to me all the time. Didn't realize it was an issue, thought it was a characteristic of the tune. I only ever really notice it in comfort mode.

BBK is on. 186mm crank pulley as well. There are a few small things to finish up and then it'll be flashed with dual pulley software tomorrow.

Great to see that Evan@Crown Motorsports was able to get a 6MT B8.5 flashed for the DP Thing's are looking up

...he's crew will get the "fun" of installing my HFC this Thursday. Hope you got your KC set-up figured out as well, so far mine's been holding up (as it should since it's a passive system).

Nice car dude, your brake setup is exactly the same as mine. What pads have you got in the front? There's not many options with the AP calipers so I've got ds2500 in and I'm sick of the dust so looking for a lower dust alternative!

yeah, my OEM cats are speculated to be clogged (not due to a design failure or tune-related, more due to coolant contamination and the resultant issues months down the line). HFC's are the cheapest alternative.

I bought two sets of pads... one for the street (they are Hawk brand. I don't know what model since I'm still waiting for them to be delivered) and a track set (Ferodo). I'm using the Ferodo pads in the front for now until the other set is delivered. I can get you part numbers later today.

No plans other than me thinking that I should look into it when I have the time. I'd like to do it, but it isn't that high on my priority list.

Killer chiller should be good to go. The track bypass valve was definitely sticking, so we just eliminated it. I now have it set up the same way as you.

I'm game on the dyno and a road trip to Orlando for it (if it's on a weekend that is...)

Were you able to get the flash squared away? Curious to see if the file for the 6MT car is similar to mine (100% ready IMHO) or if they used the more aggressive file that I initially received and started over for 6MT guys.

I'm going to start looking into the dyno rental in a couple days (I have my hands full with some family stuff right now).

I'm still on the stage 2 tune for now. Hopefully that will change in the near future. I think I'm going to the track either way tomorrow.

awesome! I'm going to try to make it out there as well as it will be my final run for 2016 as I can't make it to Saturday's event there or Sunday's TNT out in Orlando. Otherwise the track opens up again in the middle of January and I'll more than likely go to the Saturday morning TNT on the 14th and for sure our ASOT track day rental

Yes, they are installed. I haven't driven the car much since they were installed, but driving around town feels the same as stock. No noticeable increase in NVH. I should be able to do some fun driving this weekend. I will report back after I've had a chance to attack some corners and really test it out.
