    2013 A4 2.0L vs. 2014 cold air intake

Hey everyone. I have a 2013 A4 and want to get a cold air intake. I'm looking at getting a K&N Typhoon HOWEVER.... ebay has me a little stumped.

    Option 1: 2009-2013 A4 2.0L $284.99
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/K-N-Performa...hVaHr7&vxp=mtr

    Option 2: 2014-2015 A4 2.0L $186.99
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/K-N-TYPHOON-...dYG5DC&vxp=mtr

So the question is... arn't 2013-2015 A4 2.0L engines all the same? Can I order option 2, save $100, and install it on my 2013 A4? Or is there some funky stuff going on down there that differentiate 2014 air intake placement/connection from the 2013?

It's eBay... most likely they just have the year wrong for when they updated the engine in 2013. Should be 09-12 and then 13-16.

That's what I though, just didn't want to order the newer one and end up going through returns/shipping headaches.

    Thanks for confirming Zach!

A bit more $ but I recommend the ECS intake over the K&N.

ECS intake is a superior design over the K&N. More heat shielding (the ECS system with lid comes with a dual wall heat shield motor side and also comes with a heat shield that attaches to your oem turbo manifold heat shield). K&N and APR do not include this. K&N doesn't even have a lid over the filter, it's open element. APR's system has been know since day 1 to have poor fitment and rubbing issues. Simply my suggestion, choice is yours. Search on the forums for more facts on the above stated.
