Slight variation to question "can I drive without my ABS"

I've read several posts about how you can drive without your ABS, understanding you won't have it if you get into a serious braking situation. I've got all that. In the posts, most of the OPs have stated that their ABS failed and lights come on etc. etc.

In my case, I had to remove my ABS to change the brake booster. The ABS pump is dry / empty. So my question is: "will I ruin anything" if I drive with the ABS pump dry? I'll fix it eventually but would like to drive it for the time being.
