Coilpack harness bolt spins free, but stuck? Halp!

So I went to swap out my PCV valve today (yeah I realize pressure control valve valve is redundant), and didn't get far: the T30 bolt/screw that holds the harness for the coilpacks to the block spins freely, but won't come out at all. It doesn't loosen or tighten, or rise up at all. I tried pulling it up with every pair of pliers I have, and tried prying it up with a flathead, but no dice!

Before I take it to a shop, do you guys have any ideas on how to get it out, or what the issue might be? Thanks!

Certainly seems to be stripped, why take it to a shop, get your dremel out and cut the head off, it doesn't really do anything so no need to be concerned about what to do after cutting the head off.

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation so you're good there. Just wedge a flathead or paint scraper under the bolt as you unscrew it. The one on my old motor stripped out and I had to do this as well.

Thanks for the idea. I'll give it a shot.

This. On both cases (pcv def and wedging)

Applying pressure up (towards the head of the screw) will (might) allow the threads of the bolt to grab what metal is left.

If it works, before putting back in or leaving out completely, you can try to retap. You'll have to find the metric tap for it tho, which I'm not sure of the size or thread pitch.
