I'm getting ready to purchase some winter floor mats. Which do you guys prefer the oem audi ones or should I go with weather tech mats?

Weathertech, hands down. All my vehicles have them after running OEM mats. Superior.

I've always ran OEM allweather ones in all of my B6s and they're good. Weathertechs take it to another level, however I did hear from several members that their pedal gets stuck with them and that's the only reason I haven't upgraded. I might give them a try regardless and see how bad it is.

Nothing wrong with OEMs either. I assume the weathertechs clip in like OEM? I actually think my mom may have weathertechs in her Q5 - what's the price difference?

Weathertech for sure. They cover up the footwell perfectly, and are really secure. I haven't had a pedal get stuck at all, and am really pleased with them. Plus, you can take them out and hose them down and pop them back in. I'd highly recommend them for all year round.

I've had OEM on all of my cars except the RS4, which has Weathertech.

I prefer OEM, but both are high quality.

The S4 I just got has "LL TEK" all weather mats in it. They are molded with sides and waterproof like weathertech but they have carpeting on them. I have had weathertech in all my vehicles but I think I like these LL tek mats too.

edit, I tried to find these online and it looks like they are discontinued.

I have OEM mats and use them all year long. One suggestion, no matter which one you buy. Ensure that they clip in so as they Do Not move forward and get caught up on the accelerator. When I bought my new S4, the Audi dealer parts dept. gave me the wrong mats. I didn't know that they had to be clipped in. One day while getting on the freeway, they got stuck...needless to say, since it was light traffic and my tracking experience kicked in. I attempted to brake and slow down car...it did not stop. I ended up putting it in neutral, but engine sound like it will blow up...by this time, car was doing 75mph and still pulling. I did something that I don't really recommend...I turned ONE click on the ignition to turn off the engine. ANY further it would LOCK up the steering wheel. About 10 years ago, a family crashed on the freeway in San Diego California and killed the whole family due to the same concern! If my family was driving it...I would be posting a different result.

I love my Weathertech mats, keeps most of the water and muck out of the carpet. Only complaint is the under seat compartment hangs on the mat lip when I pull it out.
