    AWE or Armytrix

    Hi guy,

I have a 2015 audi RS5. Was thinking to change the exhausts of the same. Came across Capristo // AWE // Armytrix.

Capristo was awesome but too costly.
AWE 's track edition with stock downpipes is reasonable
Armytrix, is also same and has option of valves. But I read somewhere that when valves are closed it builds back pressure. Which can kill the life of engine.

Need suggestions from you guys which one to go for out of AWE and Armytrix.

Thanks to all who will answer.

Between Armytrix and Awe not much difference. Capristo is not the budget. Unfortunately ! I think I will go with awe because of the valves. Don't need back pressure.

that's surprisingly. I think armytrix was more expensive than the capristo.

as for the valves, I mean you can run them open so you don't get back pressure, and only run it closed when you want to drive quiet and subtle. that is the whole point of valves, and is a great feature to have. capristo is valved, and no issues with that.

iv heard awe in person, the tone is good but imo it is not exciting enough

They all sound awesome. What pricing are you seeing for the Capristo? I could probably get to around $3,800 shipped. Happy to price the AWE as well, if you decide to go that direction.

I love my armytrix, but very expensive. I hear Capristo is the way to go. I've youtubed all the exhaust options for my V8 S5, and felt Armytrix had the best sound overall. Capristo & AWE sound awsome as well. The monetary investment is not worth it for most. If I had to do it all over again, i'd go Armytrix again. For me, 40% of the fun factor is in the sound.

I'm getting awe for 3100$. Armytrix for 4100$. Both include installation cost also. Capristo is even above. In Armytrix the down pipes also has to be changed, which can void the warranty. So awe seems to be the best solution for now as the down pipes can be left as is. But thanks guys for helping. Over all no one complained about AWE.

I think you'll be happy with any of the 3. The V8s just sound amazing when opened up.
