    Euro Delivery of an RS

I'm planning on taking Euro Delivery of an RS7 in the spring. I posted in their forum asking what discounts people received on their Euro delivered RS7s but it seems like no one over there has done it. According to Audi's website, an RS isn't subject to the standard 5% discount. However, it was suggested that I post my question here as a few RS5 owners have done ED. So, what sort of discount did you guys receive? TIA

No ED discount. I did ED back in 2013 for my RS5 and I managed to get about $2500 off together with the loyalty discount. Back then RS models were still eligible for the 5% ED discount, but dealers weren't giving them as the car was limited production. They don't get any incentives or holdbacks on RS models and the ED process is quite a bit of paperwork for them, so that factored into not wanting to give any discount. Most dealers actually turned me down altogether as there is nothing in it for them other than more work. Also as opposed to the A and S models, ED RS and R models still come out of the dealer's allocation, whereas ED for other models is a way for them to sell cars above their allocation. Nowadays RS/R models are no longer eligible for ED discounts at all. You won't be saving any money doing ED. It's about the experience and the thrill of driving these cars on the roads that they are made for. I stayed almost 4 weeks and put 4000 miles on the ODO. Best car buying experience ever. Highly recommend it if you manage to make it work and find a dealer who is willing to do it.
