Winter morning frost on cab roof

I've never really paid the roof much attention on the cab, mainly because every winter the car isnt working. This morning theres quite a lot of frost on the roof. Just wondering if there is something I should be doing to protect the hood from frost?

If you lived up hear in the New England I would say move south to avoid the frost altogether.

I believe they sell a conditioner for cab roofs that repels water which then doesnt let front build up. basically it would just be like rain which would be better

I use 303 fabric protectant on my top. Don't know if it will keep frost off.
