So I was casually browsing through the smythkitcars website which (for those that don't know) make ute conversions for MK4 and MK4 Jettas. However, when looking at future models they will introduce I found this:
This seems like its gonna be very awesome if the pull it off!

That Allroad 'ute' looks really good but somehow the back part just doesn't really match up well in my eye, not sure why. I've never seen a B5 ute either. I have done a few photoshops though and those turned out looking ok, will be interesting to see how smythkitcars pull it off.

They are pretty neat but I do enjoy my 4 doors to much to turn them into a coupe.

Yeah, I agree, it would be a cool concept but a B5 with 2 doors is like a bird with no wings. Pointless.

Hah! We were just looking at the Smyth Kits site the other day in the office. Kind of a fan of the MK5 ute in some odd way, haha...

A B5 ute would be awesome! Insta-sponsorship for any brave B5 ute pioneers out there
