I cant figure out the best way to word this otherwise I would just do a Google search. So the scenario is as follows.

About 10 minutes into my drive while on the freeway at 80mph i will feel what can only be described as it feeling like the transmission slipping. Engine RPM's dont really change. Steady between 2500 and 3000. It does it 2 times right in a row than its good. no more issues for the remainder of the drive. Also does not happen on every drive. My first thought was that maybe the tranny is slipping and thats not good becausae of the $$$$$ to fix, but my thoughts are that if it was a tranny issue I would be seeing the problem more often. So maybe a sensor on the engine. Dirty fuel injectors.

    Anyone seen a similar issue?

Other issues I have and I dont know if they factor in.

Vibration like a bad wheel bearing around 30 mph. Pretty consistent. Sound goes away
I have a power steering leak somewhere and fluid ran out on me at one point (prior to me knowing there was a PS leak). Not a fast leak
Yesterday my break like came on flashing on dash. Research pointed to low reservoir. I filled and found it wasnt really low. Maybe slightly.

First you need to scan for codes. One possibility is a faulty brake switch cutting out your throttle. A scan for codes would go along way.

Yeah I need to have that done. Real novice question here, but can you have codes stored if there are no active alarms on the dash? Guess I need to go get a code reader.

Yeah, some codes set the light and some don't.

No codes. All of the diagnostics were good as well
