    Safety recall for 2007-2012 Q7

I just got a letter from Audi concerning a recall for issues with cracks in the fuel pump flange which can lead to fuel leaks and fires. Says parts should be available after November 30. Anyone here had that replaced already? Is the threat of fire serious enough to stop driving the vehicle?

I received the same letter today. Unless I smell fuel I'm going to keep driving.

I decided I'm going to take mine in, just to get free diagnostic on fixing my fuel level sensor with the recall fix.

I replaced the fuel filter on mine, is located in the same spot (just on the other side under the rear seat) and made of the same material of the fuel pump, and it developed cracks on the top, I'll suggest replacecing both, I bought my filter on ebay, I wad about to replace the pump as well.

Still driving mine as I don't smell fuel. I scheduled the service for next Friday to get resolved.
