    flat tire today

I got the warning light on my way to work this morning. Happens a couple times a year and usually is just a bit low, so I drove a couple miles on stop and go surface streets to the pump at a gas station. Tire was FLAT and would't pressurize at all. I surely ruined the sidewall too by driving on it. Luckily I was literally across the street from a goodyear, so I drove over and tire rack is delivering a full set of blizzaks tomorrow to replace the blizzaks I currently have on. Uber'd it to work. I had at least one more season left on these tires.

Great story right? Thinking about turning it into a movie.

LOL, I feel you there. Had my back right blow out last weekend. Not a huge deal but i had the whole family in the car. Just ruined my timing on Winter tires and re-using rear summer tires for next yr...

Yeah, well I've been looking to trade her for a 911, but between the new tires and a 55k service with a full brake replacement my 911 fund just took a decent hit.

    LOL
How do you drive a couple miles on a flat tire thinking it was just a bit low?!
When my Blizzak's are done I'll be getting a set of Nokians.

noticed yesterday when I got out of my vehicle my front right and front left tires were slightly bulging.. PSI was at 31. Phew.. All four had dropped about 8 PSI. I was able to put them back up to spec at the nearest gas station. Definitely forgot about the colder temps :P

That's what I thought. Have you ever had a flat on your S4? I knew it was low because of the indicator so was driving slow and easy, but couldn't tell it was as flat as it was. I bet most S4 drivers couldn't either. I think it's the combo of awd and low profile tires. But then again, I'm not the expert race car driver like everyone else on this forum.

I've got the Nokians R2's - second season with them on - love em and they're priced well.

I'm going to change from nokians to blizzaks.
Has anyone tried both in deep snow?

My buddy has (he's local here). Said Nokians are better.
They are both excellent tires though...

nokians in the ice and snow are bar none the best!

sacrifice in performance on dry roads in the winter tho they can be a bit squirmy...

Child's play... I've had my S4 for about 1.5 years, and I've had five flats! Yep, that's right, five! One stick through the sidewall, one blowout (with a bent HRE rim), and three screws, all on different occasions.
