I had some misfires on their old tune (so did coolwater i think) but they fixed it a while ago. Im using Denso IKH24 plugs with a .024” +/- .002” gap and a high flow cat CTS DP with no spacers

I am running v1.2 the newest version. But still on stock plugs I also am running a cts downpipe cat-less with the resonator delete. I'm thinking I'll just throw plugs at it see if it helps...

I know this sounds like a bit of paranoia but I also had a misfire after switching directly to v1.1. So I reverted back to stock and then reinstalled v1.1 about 6 months ago. No misfires since. Runs flawlessly. I also have the Denso IKH 24 plugs with the tighter gaps. I just got the feeling that switching directly from V1.0 to v1.1 didn't really work. I could be wrong and maybe the misfire was just a fluke but switching back to stock first has worked for quite a while now.

you're not wrong i had the same experience. After I flashed to stock and did a full flash to v1.2 all my issues disappeared. This is after experiencing them consistently for around 2 months. When flashing from v1.0 to 1.1 or 1.2 it would seem fine at first then after a few days (depending on how much i drove) it would misfire again. Been solid for about 6 months now

Well put the new plugs in and went to the track, first run had a few misfires, second run a bunch followed by it jumping into limp home mode at about the 1/8 mile. So as I'm leaving the track I start to notice the sound of an exhaust leak thanks to a high curb I don't think much of it at the time as I'm upset my car is running like 💩. Got home tonight and decided to dig in, this all started after my downpipe install and res del. well as it turns out there is a leak in the exhaust as well as vacuum lines that were unplugged, and one of the wires going to into an enjctor was twisted and the pin was bent looks like the ship just jamed it back together. If that's not enough I found tools left behind from the tech and also a nut missing totally missing from my lower control. Needless too say I'm looking for a new shop at this point and they will be getting an earfull from me on Monday.

Jesus Christ people are so stupid. Sorry to hear about that. You should try to get a partial refund or something before you tell them you're done with them.

Anytime you have issues with ED tune just email them....they replied fast and kept me in the loop until they udated the software. I have a 16 S3 and from wat i heard its a lil different then the earlier ones in terms of the software so there will be hiccups.
