I have a 99 B5 A4 Quattro 1.8t and the exhaust broke a couple of days ago right at the turbo outlet. Was wondering if I could replace with a test pipe, and keep the stock exhaust. Open to suggestions. Thanks

If your cat is Brocken then you should be able to slap a TP in there. You'll get a code bc of it but if you can live with it your fine. Also, need to make sure you can pass inspection without a cat.

Broken cat huh? Just grab it by the pussy.

    Too soon?

Sorry...too hard to resist. I don't care for politics and didn't even vote. But answer in post above. You can first try spacing the rear o2 sensor out. many on the market. If that does not work, then code it out of the ECU (Nefmoto if all that you want is that).

I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch

You could always take that part off and have it re-welded? But yes, a TP will bolt right in place of the cat.

We carry 034 motorsports hfc option. This is a bolt on solution and will allow you to keep the stock exhaust.

If you would like any more information on this product please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Alex.

Thanks everyone for the info very helpful. Emissions is no issue in the town I live in, and want to upgrade the a4 anyways. Just don't see the need to go back with a new cat.
