My B8 A5 thread

Hi folks!
Bought my A5 last year.
Had my sights set on an S4 or S5, but decided it's smarter to keep my current ride.
Already fortunate enough to have this.

So, the additions started haha

-APR STAGE 2 (feels like a new car wow)
-034 HFC
-ECS Carbon Intake

-custom exhaust (Didn't feel like dropping $2k on AWE on the 2.0t)
Removed the rear muffler and 1 resonator and installed a Flowmaster Super44
Nice tone without being overly loud, plus UP-SHIFT FARTS!

-3m Carbon wrap on the interior trim
-Window tint 20% rear and 35% front.
-Rs style grille

What I plan to do next:
-get that shadow line vinyl that the bmw crowd uses to black out the window trim($20 for a roll); screw spending $300 at a wrapping place.
-Maybe Wheels? Or just powder coat these later on.

Also here's a little Photoshop mock-up of an idea i had for the front bumper. Sorta imitates the RS5
I don't have S-line package...fucking kill me :(

I'm at 55k miles, I'd wait till the suspensions blows out at 100k+

Can't get those anymore.

The RS5 style front bumper is NASTY...In a good way lol its so mean.

I'm really starting to hate Brilliant Black.
When its clean its Brilliant, but it never stays clean :/

Wish I could've gotten meteor grey instead.
Maybe sometime next year I might wrap the car in Avery Dark Gloss Grey(Nardo Grey)

hah yea I pretty much bought the last one LOL. after buying it, prices spiked wayyyy up and was all out of stock

I see Palm Trees, are you in Cali? Worried about the HFC? I'm sticking with Stage 1 for now. Shop says it most likely will not pass emissions with the 200 count cat.

Yeah I am. I think I'll have to smog next year.
I got the work done at Eurocode tuning. So I'll go back to them to go back to stock, go to a smog place around them, then go straight back to have the stuff put back on.

The piece is actually very good for what it is. Sides could fit better, but you have to remember its the ebay china valence.
We non S-Line folks are limited.

Exhaust set-up is the same now with quads instead.
The car actually got louder wow and the rasp is gone too!

I had black tips before, but decided I wanted more flair, so I opted for burnt blue ones.

I mean the 2.0T is pretty fun tuned, but man that 3.0 is really something. A clean B8 S4 was out of my budget at the time I got my A5.

I have HR OE springs on mine which from my s line suspension lowered it a tad more which I'm happy with (I'd recommend hr sport springs or kw has if you want it to be little lower for the "perfect" stance or height). Yes I had Project Shadow (2011 B8 S4) which I loved but it was just time to move on as I was moving from the East Coast to the West. In the end i ended up with the A5 which I find it as of now the perfect balance between power and handling for SoCal roads/traffic. I eventually want to tune mine with Stage 1 but that will be down the road. I miss some aspects of the 3.0 but I'm very happy with what I have. If you ever want to meet up send me a pm. Talk soon.

I have sport HR with SPC arms on 19s and the ride is pretty close to stock. We have pretty shitty roads here in KC btw. I think it's when you switch to 20s and have low profile that send you over the edge. I am pretty happy with my ride and I'm pretty picky

Nice, Brilliant Black here as well! Question, you said you replaced a resonator with a Super44, you got any videos of the exhaust sound? I need to add a resonator since mine is straight piped after the awe downpipe I got, and that thing is droney as hell!
