B7 S4 won't crank/start

First thought it starter solenoid. There was a ton of rain yesterday and since then things have been a little funny. Once I'm home tonight I'm going to start taking a look around the ECU and check relays. I get power to the car, it's like the car is in a run state, it wont unlock the doors, the ignition will turn over, I have power, but no crank, no start.

Does anyone in the Worcester/Westborough/Lowell/Boston area that has a VAG COM I could borrow?

could be starter. but check to make sure cowl didnt fill with water.

Wrong sized battery for the car. Once I put teh right one in everything seems fine.

Nice! Yeah I see his car all the time, nice looking car, but needs some mods =-)

hes on the fence on keeping it. he just has that rs3 grill. hes had many modded vws, and audis dating back to the early 2000s.

Yeah, it's a nice car, just a bit too small for me. I do like the RS3 grille, makes me want to modify the S4. Some stuff is going to have to wait till spring. I need to find someone to trade suspensions with me. The Koni's are too rough. But I do love the ride height. Decisions, decisions.

Dead again this morning..... And the radio is acting funny. I either have a relay issue or something is going on with the stock radio keeping power on to the amps.... Getting really F@#%@#% annoying. New battery was fine until today. I definitely think it's radio related. Yesterday it wouldn't detect the car was turned on and I had to manually turn it on. Then in the afternoon it would not turn on at all. I am going to check the 329 relay this afternoon, one related to the window controls and cig lighter. I am also removing the stock stereo so maybe that will have a positive affect. If not, then it's pull a fuse, one at a time until I find the drain.....

Finally fixed! It was the stock headunit malfunctioning leaving the stock Bose amps on. Replaced with an aftermarket head unit and no more battery drain.
