Does the car crank? Are you hearing a repetitive clicking noise coming from the engine? Are you sure that the battery connections are on securely?

EDIT: Do you have CAA? If for whatever reason your battery is dead, they can come and give you a boost.

Should I hook up a portable charger and see if it cranks?

Couldn't hurt. Depending on your portable charger, it may show current battery charge level.

Double check that the connections are securely tightened to the battery posts. I've made that mistake before.

If it cranks, try giving it a little gas while it is cranking.

What if you just insert the key (key on, ignition off) to the first position to turn all accessories on. Does the cluster illuminate then?

Have you checked fuses for the cluster itself?

Was your key inserted when you hooked the battery back up? If the car's cranking, but you're not getting any illumination on the cluster, you may have blown the fuse to the cluster.

I think with the newer Audi's a lot of the cars subsystems are tied together electonically. If one component isn't registering it may cause sympathetic faults in other subsystems. Check your fuse panel to see if anything has tripped there. Don't forget about the panel in the passenger side compartment in the trunk.

Could be a loose connection at the battery. Make sure the terminals are tight.

It's possible to have lights but not have a strong enough connection to crank.

Never had this issue myself but maybe check all your fuses and make sure one didn't get dislodged during your camera install. Also check battery terminals again...

Also get ya self one of these for future, they are great :)

That way you will never wonder about the battery again :)

If it was your immobilizer, the car would start, then immediately die.

We've listed numerous things for you to try and without you confirming that you've done those things, we'll need more info if we're going to be of any help at all.

Otherwise you might as well call a tow truck and have it towed either to a dealership or a shop you trust.
