    T-Stat Housing Crack

Any of you guys ran into this issue? I was pissing coolant all over the place yesterday and was able to pinpoint it to what looks like a crack in the T-Stat housing. Had the same issue last year with a Ford. T-Stat has 70k miles on it.

Well the thermostat is a solid piece with the plastic housing that the hoses attach to. They're pretty easy to replace.

I have the part on hand. Just need to carve out time to do it.

wow never see one actually crack .. but to be honest they are terribly unreliable and usually get replaced long before the plastic starts to fatigue. So I would say you had a pretty good run.

now the coolant manifold is a different matter . that thing usually just crumbles and starts pissing all over your gear box.

Pretty common. Mine did the same thing last winter.
