It may not be normal but if it's not causing leaks or it's not cracked it shouldn't be much of a problem

Thanks for the replies. Does a shitload of coolant spill out when you pull these hoses off? As in do you have to drain the whole coolant system before replacing these hoses?

Yes a bunch of coolant will spill out if you remove those hoses. I dont think they can be clamped off either since one of them connects to the upper hard pipe

The oil cooler is an water to oil system, so yes a bunch of coolant will spill out.

You could remove all of it beforehand or just do the job(losing however much you lose) and do a coolant flush(with distilled water) after.

Regardless after either job top off with g12 and distilled water to make 50:50 mix or whatever you desire.

You should plan to drain and bleed the system, while your there, you may as well flush and add all new coolant. Now would also be a great time to examine any other hoses, areas of leaks, sensors, etc. that may be about go as well. If the coolant was recently replaced, then save it, but be sure to filter it so nothing other then coolant makes it back into your system.
