When I floor the A3 2.0T quattro on a not-too-grippy surface, I often get some sort of mechanical clunking during the skid. It feels almost like the Haldex is trying to lay power to the back of the car. On the 2017 A4, it doesn't have this (the A4 does have summer tires, while I have all season for the A3).

Is this because of Haldex or the 6-speed DSG vs. the A4's torsen and 7-speed DSG?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
