Weird Blluetooh / Radio issue

Started about 2 weeks ago. At first I was clueless as the car would start and the radio would play but then the sound would cut out no matter which source. Sometimes if I switched to playing from my phone the sound would come back but now nothing. Discovered that whenever my phone is connected via the Bluetooth the MMI shows that there's a call being made to my phone! Disable Bluetooth on the phone and the stereo resumes playing, enable Bluetooth and it stops..>WTF. Bring the car to Audi and I told this to the service manage when he was looking at me funny. Bring her out to the car to demonstrate it and she was WTF I've never seen anything like that. Got appointment this week for the techs to take a looksee.

I wasn't having the exact same issue with my car, but I had some odd behavior with my audio controls, and only while operating on bluetooth. This problem persisted through shutting off and starting the car. In fact, it was bothering me for several days before I thought to just reset MMI. I used the restart MMI button combination, the MMI restarted, and the problem hasn't returned. This was probably 3 or 4 months ago.

Now, I don't know for sure that it will fix your problem, but being that it's quick, easy, free and won't cause any bad side effect, I'd say it's worth a shot.

> Turn the car on
> Wait for MMI to load up entirely
> Press the 3 buttons simultaneously and allow MMI to restart
> Test it out and see if it works

Ha......updated the IOS on my iPhone and so far it has not happened. Weird
