    Oil pressure

    Hey guys so im looking to change my oil pressure sensor in my C5 and on ecs theres two parts: the oil pressure sender and oil pressure switch. I just wanted to know if they are different parts or what do i need?

    are you after the bit on the underside of the oil pan?
    if so, then the sensor

    Isnt that the oil level/ oil temp sensor? If your oil pressure switch went bad your dash would turn bright red and flash a picture of dripping oil while beeping.

    They look to be the same thing with different names. One for 1999 and before and one for 2000 and up.

    Yeah the one that causes the error message in the cluster. Upon looking further i feel pretty dumb, they seem identical but just different names.
