I'm assuming I need a 30 pin to aux adapter for this? Would i need a digital audio signal? or analog audio signal?

That adapter requires the ipod to be connected to open the audio signal so a 30pin to aux will NOT work. Here are your options.

Unless specified they replace your ipod adapter in the glove box.

First the keys to remove the radio and/or CD changer

I bought the adapters as pictured in my previous post and my Audi will not play audio through my iPhone 6 Plus but it will charge the iPhone. I have to buy a whole new deck?

Did you see my post? I sponsor the car audio forum and I probably know more about the Audi Audio than most people in the world. Did you not see the products I posted or did you think they would not work?

I just didn't want to pay $200 and remove my Symphony deck.

Can you explain to me why the iPod dock is charging my iPhone and iPod devices but not emitting audio through my car stereo?

Also, if you have to buy a whole new deck. What is the point of the iPod deck in the first place? Is it just for Nano's and not for iPhones & iPod touch?

The pins are probably broken from ipod being smashed into it.

All 6 Options I listed above ar add-ons to your factory radio.

Just ordered a Insignia FM transmitter with a lightning cable connection. I'd prefer a wired connection but i dont feel like taking out my Audi Symphony deck. I like the factory stereo. It looks nice.

If you ever get tired of the poor quality this is probably your best bet. It connects behind the iPod dock in the glove box.

AUX + USB for iPod iPhone with song+/- and playlist+/- controls from radio and steering wheel controls. (no text) (USB will charge android from USB but no control and audio from aux)
