    Anyone see the post on Instagram from Silly Rabbit on the RS7 that ran a 10.24 @ 138mph? Anyone on here that has more info on this project?

    Hey guys, here's a video from my last track day, and an overview of the car immediately following my second 10.55

    No launch control, just a flat punch from idle to about 75% throttle, then roll into 100% about one car length off the line. Full weight, street tires, and I believe the DA was ~1100 at this time of the day. This same launch technique landed me a 1.57 later in the day as I got my air pressure dialed in.

    Warning: Video is long, 5 minutes, as I covered as much as I could about my car.

    My apologies for the the mega late response...thanks again Pez, Cobrario, and DGVR6.

    Hofahome, these runs were on 104 plus methanol...no improvement over 104 alone. On the street I'm running 100 octane racegas file on pump/E85 mix with meth, my datalogs are perfectly clean. Next track visit will be on the latter...just the way she is everyday on the street.

    Nice run IowaRS7...106 in the 1/8th is flying!

    I just switched to APR tuning and had a question for everyone here in context of S7/S6 4.0TT. What launch RPM has proven to provide fastest 0-60?

    Too many variables to give a black and white answer. Track prep, DA, tires, suspension setup, stage tune, etc.

    If stage 1, majority have found most success launching at 5k if prep is decent or better

    The first run was racing a built Alpha 12 GTR...
    I redlighted and it still crushed me..

    Next run I ran a 10.9 in dynamic mode.... I ran my first run using my individual setting with my suspension in auto. I don't remember what I ran against on my 2nd run because my task was to finally crack why my car runs weird times. It's Dynamic mode... On my suspension its just best to leave it in auto mode and let it handle itself....

    Excellent engineering there.... Good job Audi!!!


    My last run was against my buddies Demon. To his testament, it got colder and with his car being on slicks and skinnies he couldn't get it to hook up. He was hopping all over the place...

    The very last run the track manager takes it out. Runs a 10.90 in it. I wanted to run but I needed to get home. Next race will be against his MB AMG GTR. I'll def. get more pics and video of all of this.

    Went to a midnight track event last night and finally had a chance to run my car with the Sunoco 104oct fuel. Outside temps were unusually cold (60s) for this time of year making traction on a cold track the biggest issue. My best run of the night time slip attached. You can certainly tell a major difference with and without AMAX!! Really hope to see an updated APR ECU and ZF tune at some point. Going to look into the inlets now and continue to follow SRM and Eurocode’s work. Some GTX30 billet turbos with better cooling would be nice.

    Thanks! I had run a few times before this run so car was not cooled down for this one and my 60ft isn't the best I have been able to do. I think if I would have gone to the test and tune earlier in the day while the track was hotter, I could have hit a 10.3xx I didn't engage AMAX on most of the runs, I was trying some different techniques since I was spinning the tires too much. Now I am wondering if I should pick up some 20" wheels and run a taller side wall and a stickier tire, or at least run something on the rear with a smaller wheel/tire combo for track runs.

    looks like upper 60's which shouldn't normally be an issue for traction and your 1.61 60'/4.419 330 and 106mph 1/8th seem to indicate you were planted pretty well. Amax is massive, generally .3-.5 sec.

I'd be inclined to look at the stage 1 cooling upgrade he's got first, it's a solution I been privy to some inside information about and it works, even on a stock turbo car. The GT28/30 upgrade I think will need some more time to prove itself and I for one am living vicariously through my buddy who's proving the GT28's work, but regrettably he snapped and axle a couple weeks ago so with the extra power comes consequences. There is as much movement in the platform now as I've ever seen so it's an exciting time to be a S/RS 4.0TT owner.

    just curious what you're hoping for from a TCU file, I've done a lot of investigating and there's no evidence I can find that a TCU file will do anything to make our cars faster from a straight line standpoint.     Thnx! I think a little less wheel spin and I would have had a 1.5 60ft and closer to a 10.3xx.

    Looking for 3 things from a TCU tune:

    1. I want to keep AMAX
    2. I would like to see a bump in the rev limiter
    3. I would like to see TQ management and shift points match the ECU tune and/or other mods

    I have been talking to Sean and strongly looking at the Stage I cooling and the intake tubes. The upgraded turbos are on the list to consider, but I really want to see some additional results and make sure I have access to a somewhat local and proven tuning option. For now, I would like to maximize what I can out of the stock turbos. Honestly, going 9 sec while cool as hell, would cause issues with ongoing track events as I would need a roll cage, hehe The axles breaking is a concern even at current power levels from my understanding.

    Do you have the 100 octane file with your tune? Im not too far from you. Im running the sunoco gt fuel in mine right now. A few places around fayetteville have it. Havent ran it at the track yet to see my actual times though. I just know its kicking butt on the street.

    I can get the file for 100 octane but I use 93. This was my first time on the track and I wanted to start small.

    Let me know if you decide to go to Fayetteville, I wouldn’t mind having stage 2 to compare with.

    Couldn’t remember if Dragy results were accepted in this thread but I have Dragy screen shot and video.

    EPL STG 2
    EPL TCU
    93 Pump w/ e85 mix. (E28)
    Mikes Downpipes, Becker Catback, Roc Euro intake
    D/A? Was in West Virginia so def above sea level
    Hankook V2 tires


    Was hard getting tracking as the road is concrete and not ashpalt.
