I have started to custom retrofit a drivers side engine cover (part # 8E0 103 927 C) on my 1.8T that came from what I believe was the V6 3.0L model.
I still have a bit of trimming work to do around some of the hoses before I can permanently install it however.
I am hoping someone can help provide me some photos of an original 3.0L engine bay with the drivers side engine cover REMOVED.
For comparison, this is the driver's side of my engine bay right now without the cover.
If you can post or send me some clear photos through PM it would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to see where a couple of the mounting points fasten on an original setup, so I can fabricate some brackets to make it work in my car.
I'd like to see a close up of the connection points for the 2 mount points circled in the below photo of the underside of the cover.

At first glance, I am thinking that the coolant overflow reservoir is a different part # on the 3.0L models which would make sense for where the cover snaps into the ball head bolt. (#17 in this screenshot from ETKA which is not clear on this part for the various models.)
For the front connection point, I see the cover has a curved part that will sit over a bolt to secure that, but I do not see anything on the front body near the radiator, where it could screw into.
Thanks in advance for whoever can help me with this.
