    A4 B8 violent boot/trunk opening

    Has anyone experienced their boot/trunk flying open so fast ? I would expect it to open smoothly and slowly but mine ejects like a fighter pilot in an emergency!

    Any ideas why this is happening ?

    Trunk shock, located on the driver side, just pop trunk trim door. You can replace it with small screwdriver
