Back in August I had to do a wheel bearing replacement on my 2012 S4. To get the job done I got a subscription to alldatadiy.com for my car as I needed the torque specs for various bolts/nuts. When I was disassembling the suspension, the lower shock bolt that holds the shock to the knuckle was ridiculous to take off. As I was working on jack stands I couldn't get under the car to get enough leverage, an impact wouldn't work, and I finally had to use the widow-maker jack under the end of a 2' breaker bar to crack the bolts free. The bolts came out with what I thought was a normal amount of "corrosion". Further to that, the alldatadiy.com manual says that bolt is 150 NM (111ft lbs) + 180 degrees. Because of how hard the bolt was to take off, this didn't seem outrageous. I got the one side on (with great effort) but the second side I got to about 170 degrees before sheering the 1/2 to 3/8 adapter (I believe that the only 6 point socket I had in the right size was a 3/8 so had to use the adapter to fit on the 1/2 racket/breaker bar). When that broke I conceded that it was close enough.
Flash forward 3 months and I am putting together a parts list for putting in a cup kit. I found a coilover install guild on ECS tuning that looks to be exceptionally well written and includes all the torque specs for the bolts including the bolt in question. Here is the link to those instructions:

The bolt in question is on steps 1, 2 and 14 of the "Installing the Rear Springs and Shocks" portion of the document.
In these instruction they do not specify the 180 degrees after the 150 Nm so I started freaking out a bit. Do I have these bolts on way too tight? If so, what will happen if I leave them on for another 5 months when I plan to install the cup kit (which means going though a Winnipeg (Canadian) winter with snow, sand and salt? Will I tear out the threads in the knuckle when I back these bolts out?
What I am hoping for is that someone here can confirm what the actual shop manual says for this bolt.
