    Faulty oil level sensor?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a b8.5 A4. Just had an oil change, and it said "please reduce oil level".... I was in a huge hurry so I didn't take it back in to have them address.

It fell through the cracks and I forgot-- now a week later I'm getting an oil message to add a quart. My car only has 20k miles on the new longblock with 0 consumption issues prior to the oil change.

I have an oil dipstick and it does not seem to be on the "min" level-- could it just be a faulty sensor?

Any way to check through vagcom? Thanks in advance!

Question mark was because of the hood sensor location, which is not "in the hood", but attached to the lock.
