Reaching out to fellow PNW (Seattle area) AZ Memebers

Hi North West Audizine Members

I am possibly looking to do some upgrade to my A4 Avant coming up soon and would rather not spend a fortune in labour at a dealer/garage...

What i'm looking to do is below and looking for anyone in the area who maybe has the tool set/garage/shop space and time to maybe help a fellow member out. I'm not mechanically minded in any way really but always willing to learn and you tube has plenty of videos lol...


Update Coilovers/Suspension - Iv'e heard good things about B12 Blistein for the price range, but figured this is a HUGE job...
Install Sway Bar Kit and replace bushings - Apparently the S4 one is best for this? Just feel like the stock suspension is very harsh when going over speed bumps and such. In Seattle they are everywhere.,

I was told it would be $1500 to replace my bushings... all labor as the parts are stupid cheap... (this is crazy)

I have not purchased any of those stuff just yet as wanted to get feelers out for anyone in the Seattle PNW area who might be willing to help out.

I'm not begging for anyone to just come work on my car, Just seeing if anyone on these forums in my area are interested in helping out a fellow AZ user.

Can also possibly exchange IT/Web/Graphics/Photo services for Mechanical help if anyone needs it.

Long shot I know but figured I would see whats out there.


Or maybe you know of a good shop/garage that wouldn't charge me an arm and leg if I had the parts to fit?

Well I live in Seattle WA, so anywhere within a 30-60 minute drive I guess.

Autobahn Autowerks in Burien would be a good shop to check out. I'm pretty sure Steve would have no problems with you supplying your own parts.

ok good to know, its the labour costs im mainly worried about lol, I see your in Renton, I'm just north of Renton myself.

I'd probably be willing to offer up my garage and services, if not for a couple of factors....

1) haven't done suspension stuff yet, and learning as I go on someone else's ride seems wrong to me, somehow. ;-)

2) my garage is kind of a miserable place to work

3) I have two cars that need work.

I am quite familiar with the Avant chassis as I performed all the work on my allroad and other friend's allroads. I could help you out with a majority of the work, am located down in Federal Way. Text me if you want 425.830.one-two-one-one.
