    2003 Immo Question

Wassup Guys My First Post here

I recently picked up a A4 B6 project, and I am having some issues.
    Heres my story.

Got the project car, turned the car on.
Hazard lights flash after I start car.
Noticed the ECU is form another car ( IMMO OFF )
So I tried to adapt ECU to cluster but, SAFE being displayed on cluster odometer
Opened key FOB, and theres no chip inside

    So my question is

Can I get a blank chip online, and adapt it to cluster even though ECU is different from car?
And If i succeed in doing so, would I be able to adapt ECU to Cluster after programming Key?
PS... I retrieved the SKC from both the ECU and Cluster.

Blank RFID chip will work to adapt to the cluster (its a Megamos ID48 RFID if you are shopping for one by the way). If you have both SKCs then adapting the ECU should be no problem with VCDS. If you don't have VCDS you could modify the ECU eeprom data to match the cluster. I did that initially with a replacement ECU until I cracked open the old one and put it in bootmode to read the eeprom. The old one was APR'd and didn't want to read over OBD, bootmode did the trick though.

    Thanks Brother
I was trying to adapt them today, but I couldn't even though I had the SKC's. I turned IMMO on on the ECU and car didn't start anymore.
I will wait for the chip to come in<<<Thanks Human Garbage. My plan is to program chip to cluster. Then, hopefully SAFE gets removed from the gauge. Then adapt the ECU to cluster. My bench setup was so ghetto lol.
