Just want confirmation. Twin Scroll manifold options.

Just want to confirm that full race is the only option for an off the shelf twin scroll longitudinal manifold. I know anyone can custom make one.

    Or am I missing something.

    Thanks.

Pretty sure Full Race is the only company to robotic weld manifolds. All others are man made custom.

On other news, out of stock because people probably caught onto this a long time ago. Question is, how big can you go on a longitudinal app?

Im going to look into the spa cast top twin, spaced out with header flanges.

I did this with my 1.6 turbo diesel to space the manifold outwards to push the turbo away from the starter (auto trans).

Used 3, 5/8" flanges with gaskets imbetween them, and longer studs.

    Gotta get/take some measurements.

If that is the case...look into the SPA transverse t3 twin scroll (they have two designs for the TS transverse app) with TS T3 > TS T4 flange on turbo. Essentially same thing, but different option and spacer. Only issue is the SPA is not equal length per runner, but transverse guys been running this manifold for a while no issues (haven't really researched it much on that perspective)

Edit: Shit...we are on the same page but different ends of manifold. Seen you put atp at first when I was making my response. It is also bottom mount and not top.

The psi concept mani had issues with some turbos not fitting. So this would be interesting if you got this to work.

Edit 2: New idea. Try just port matching the manifold to turbo. Gasket match may be too much material taken off. But it is cast iron and can be done with a welding stone on a power drill. You dont't need the wg port on manifold, and you can shave parts that blocks mani to head seating by shaving off that peice of the head or manifold. It is all cast material. Then no need to space out...if I am thinking about it correctly.

We do this in the b5 section a lot (walk our own road)!

Is this for t3 or t4 ts? Going off assumption this is for an efr?!?!

New thought. You don't necessarily have to run a ts t3 manifold flange into a ts t4 turbine housing (still assuming efr). But you would if the other way around. Bet that manifold will work just fine and probably faster spool because of velocity. But with exhaust pulses, not sure how the extra material will react on the manifold (ie extra hot, leading to premature fractures). So to avoid a problematic issue, just "taper" in the t3/t4 mating area. Just make for a smooth transition...done!

Kind of want to try this myself, now! But tubular manifold already built for me waiting at AZ member's house for install.

Yes, most likely efr6758, ts, internal.

Just future planning. Not moving on anything yet.

I think this will work fine. Just dont skip on the bracing.

    This is a picture of a gt30.

I dont think the efr intake is any larger.

Makes me think its promising. I know that picture is not the spa ts, but looks close to the same exit flange.

Solid mounts make a big difference when the engine rocks.

I would not compromise the frame like that. In the event of a hard front end collision, it will not buckle (crumple) per it's original design. It's quite dangerous. Something like spacing the engine higher would be a better option.

Sarcasm was intended, per the smiley faces.

Im pretty sure the efr is smaller than the pictured 30, but yes, spacing up is always an option.

Running 034 mounts in there now. Not a whole lot of movement, even when engaging 2 step.

Sorry. Not an internet or social media guy and don't get things many times (it really does go right over my head. lol). This forum board is as far as I take it...true story !

I run the 034 SD mounts and friend said that the 034 Motorsport (all silver ones) are the best mounts he has ever had. He recommends them and what I will be picking up when my current ones poop on my car.

Well your/we're going to be waiting quiet a while. Mine have over 100k on them!

Not that Ive examined them, but I dont feel/see anything funky going on.

Will definitely go the track mounts when the time comes.
