    Audi Virtual Cockpit Overview

    So I've had my S3 for about two weeks now. Absolutely love it and one of the best features of it is the Virtual Cockpit. I put together an overview video of it in case anyone wants to see it in action.

    How about Android Auto integration? Can't find anything vids online.

    I was hoping to find a video or pictures, I can't even find what it looks like or a description of what it really does for you.

    Trying to figure out if I should buy a '16 or if I would regret it for android auto/virtual cockpit.

    edit: Just discovered you can install android auto as a standalone app on your phone. This should give me a chance to try it out.

    edit 2: took me 2 minutes to figure out while it's probably convenient, i can probably live without it

    aren't the headlights from the opening splash from a B8.5 ?

    good review, I dropped in to the dealership to see if I could check out a new S3, but nothing in until January!!! Really wanted to check out the virtual cockpit and upgrades to the Haldex. Pretty much all my gripes with the S3, where I thought Audi could do a bit better, they did.

    The programmers should of at least tried to make the classic more of a analog look. (longer needles)

    Alright, so what's the verdict on this.

    Much needed change, or simply a gimmick?



    The first time I saw one of these all LCD instrument clusters was in a Tesla, which made since to me because the car is completely electric.

    Did anyone else notice that the rev limiter on the gauges of the virtual cockpit is higher than in the 2015-16 models? Looks like its at around 6800 vs 6500 for pre FL models.

    Now that you mentioned it, I do see the red line difference.

    I'm liking the virtual cockpit so far, just hoping they will do some updates.
