    Question about upgrading differential

I was just looking at the JHM Transmission Rebuilt found here https://jhmotorsports.com/shop/catal...os-p-2317.html
I was wondering how upgrading the differential from allowing 4:1 instead of the factory 2:1 affects the torque? I know rear wheel drive is better in a straight line because it's easier to push then pull + the traction later? I'm just guessing but does it increase your max torque while awd increases low end torque...

4:1 will only make a big difference on corners and tight turns. 2:1 is better in straight line if I am not mistaken.

I just did that upgrade and I think it's better low end and in corners without question. I also think it's a little more responsive on the throttle as well. My $.02

Is RWD good in a straight line because of the weight difference in transmissions?
