Hi, so I have a 2007 b7 s4 drivetrain laying around (axles, driveshaft, diffs, trans) I like the smoothness of the s4 trans shifting compared to my 2006 b7 a4. Would the s4 drivetrain be direct swap for my 2.0t?

You can make it work if you swap it all out, but the reason why the other is smoother is the S4 has more power so it doesn't have to work as hard so it is smoother. Same thing happens when customer try the 2.0T and the 3.0T in the same car back to back. It wouldn't change much, but might have lower gears so car wouldn't be as fast.

I plan on going big turbo, and I was thinking of I would benefit at all from doing this swap when, I go big turbo

Pretty sure the ratios will be pretty shitty for a turbo engine

Interesting thanks, the drive shaft and exiles wouldn't work with the a4 trans would it? I just have these laying around and find out if I could use it at all
