    Comfort vs Diamond stitch

    Do the comfort seats have the same side bolstering that the sport stitched seats have? Is the ventilation just a fan or does use the A/C pump too?

    Worth the upgrade?

    I have the comfort seats in my S6. I love the massaging and ventilation. Yes it isn't AC pumped. But I commute almost 100km each way daily and prefer the comfort over the standard seats. The side blostering is a lot smaller, but I also don't carve corners and the S6 isn't a particularly great handling car anyways

    I have comfort seating option. I am not certain that there is any difference in height or size of the side bolsters between the comfort and standard diamond stitched seats. Nor am I sure of the amount of adjustability in the standard seats.

    The comfort seats are comfortable. The adjustability is extensive. When I want a lot of side bolster support I can adjust the seats and get plenty. I feel the seats are supportive. The massage function is fantastic. Really nice after a long day at work, also makes for a nice compliment to a long road trip.

    The main reason I got them was for the ventilated seats. And I am disappointed. The seats are just that, ventilated, not "air conditioned" The ventilation function is helpful but not earth shattering.

    So
    ++ for adjustability/ support / comfort
    ++for massage function
    --for ventilation fxn
    -for looks compared to diamond stitch
    -for cost

    In retrospect I'd probably pick the standard seats.

    Comfort living in Texas. Can't live without the ventilation and love the adjustable bolstering.

    Recently had sways and links installed and it made all the difference in the world. Drives like my A5 did.

    Sports are fantstic seats and look amazing. I knew the ventilation would be worthless in the comfort as it was in my A6 before I got the s6. I could take or leave the massage, so it was an easy choice for me

    The s6 is already an understated car, which I like, but the sports seats give it that extra special look and feel. Felt the look of the comfort was just too plain.

    The S8 puts both together and is killer

    The comfort seats in the S6 are dramatically different than in the A6 ventilated seats. They A6 seats were so horrible, I took the car back to the dealer and ended up with and S6.

    As a result, I never sweat between meetings after leaving my car in an open parking lot. They work that well in the S6.
