Just picked up a private party 2013 S6. CPO, 34k miles, Audi Care.

It's got an AWE exhaust that I absolutely love. Loud when you want it, fine when you are cruising.

Really happy with the car and I owe a lot to this forums for all that I learned. Thanks for all the info!

I do have one question. Dealers wants $1200 for new front brakes. Anyone know a good Indy shop near West Chester PA that can save me a few bucks?

    Thanks!
    Reed

If that;s a CPO, they should have done it for you. My CPO sheet verifies that my brakes have over a certain amount of pad left.

I bought it private party with a CPO, so it went through the CPO process a while ago, it wasn't CPOed for me.

Congrats. Are you sure previous owner stopped with Exhaust? I don't mean to cast any doubt but I would make sure the ECU is stock and no TD1. That is unless you plan to tune it.

Thanks! I wish their was a tune on it :). No TD1 was in the dealership getting the hood latch fixed under warranty this morning.

No tune yet but I will probably look at one somewhere between 50-100k miles so I don't lose too much warranty.

I have to say I feel like I rarely get to tap into a fraction of the power of the car as it is... can't imagine it with a tune.

Gotcha. Congrats on the purchase regardless!

With some DIY knowhow you should be able to do pads and rotors on your own. Then you can upgrade in the process.

I am in the process of moving so this one will be done by someone else, but this car is going to be my hobby. I don't have much experience working on cars but it's always been something I wanted to learn. I am looking forward to spending a bunch of time and money on this thing.
