Only Bridgestone makes an All Season tire for 19's. How are the Summer performance tires handling the wet conditions for you guys?

Bridgestone isn't your only choice. I mounted Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 (high performance all season) 235/35/19 last weekend.

The factory summers are doing what they are supposed to as it relates to my style of driving. Seem to stick perfectly in the wet.

I run Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06s as my daily tire on the S3 and ran them previously on my B8 A4. I've driven them in just about any weather scenario you can think of as well as put some track days on them across the two vehicles. You won't find a better all-season tire.

    Thanks for the info.

New to riding on 19's so not very familiar brand/tire to use. Looking to selling my 19's stock S3 rims w/tires and getting the 5-V instead.

Funny yes but I thought at first there was only one selection for all season tires for 19's. I missed the Continentals.

All season = no season. Unless you're driving in snow or freezing temps, summer tires are your best bet. If you will drive in any snow or ice, however, you're better off getting a set of winter tires (summer tires can get scary in snow, but all seasons aren't a whole lot better).

    I concur!

I use PSS during the summer season, grip in wet is excellent. I spent two days on the track while it was raining. Still had a ton of fun with the PSS.

Interesting, I'm guessing the Quattro helps the summer tires?

Regardless of drivetrain, summer tires perform better in the wet than all seasons. The compound of all-seasons only become advantageous once you get below ~40 degrees or so, and in snow/ice.

I picked up a Firestone wide oval Indy summer tires on closeout from tire rack for $70. Hands down best tires wet or dry I've ever had.
