Question Quick and dirty - getting transmission rebuilt - what else to change while in there?

Getting the transmission rebuilt due to 3rd gear synchro issues. I am going to order non-sac clutch as stock one has been a pain and I just want a clutch/pressure plate combo that works. I could have been spending this much money towards a supercharger, but nope, here I am, spending it on a rebuild.

While transmission is out, what else should I change? This is a daily driver and driven "spiritedly", but if changing a specific bushing should be done at the same time, then please mention that and I will get on an ordering spree :)

Following were done within last 40k miles during my ownership - axles, brakes, control arms, transmission mount, tie rods, CC, belts, pcv, slave cylinder/hose, throttle body, jhm ss and tires. Hmmm, after reading my own list, I should just sell it and move on to a different/newer car

    Thanks!
Switched to Tesla and have never been happier. No more shady mechanic bills and excuses - oil top off before an oil change is normal or dealing with outdated forums that have image size limitations. And no more dealing with vendors that do not provide horsepower numbers but sell you random things by labeling them as performance parts. No more dealing with the Audi dealership and having to buy custom Audi specific tools. Wow. I can't believe I lived through all of this. Money pit.

I just checked and it now has 114k miles. I was wrong, I guess I have driven more than 45k since buying it..

I thought about it :) But I really like the highway torque in 6th and fear the loss of that..

I would sell you mine. I found that my car needed the stock sixth gear on certain tracks.

Apart from the axles and throttle body, this is nothing special for keeping an old RS in top shape. And to his luck he still hasn't done injectors and coils which offsets the axles and TB. #RSlogic

@OP, if you think about selling it, then tell me. Which other wide-body, 400hp+, manual trans, mechanical steering, etc. sports car can you get for 35k$ (25k$ car value and 10k$ maintenance list for the car to be in top condition). I know that in Europe, for this price range and what you get from the RS, there isn't much to substitute it.
