    Sunroof wont tilt/open

    Hi guys,

Im really frusterated, when a problem is fixed, another problem occurs.... this time seems very expensive.....

Anyways, when trying to tilt or open the sunroof, it wont, it only tilts about 20%, mostly on the right side.....

Located the sunroof motor and saw this:

The sunroof is all the way closed, when trying to tilt, it seems like something is stuck. What do you guys think?
It looks like the rail bends?

It seems easy to fix, but I don't want to tinkle and make it worse..

Ive tried resetting the sunroof by holding down the tilt button and do its cycle. But it wont even do that. Also tried pulling out the fuse and do the resetting bit. Still wont work

You're going to need a entire sunroof frame. Ive seen this happen on a Q5...

Also, it looks like the sunroof motor gear actually catches the rail. But because of the "Bulge" (if I can say) of the broken rail it tends to stop on the edge of the rounded plastic rail guide. Maybe a temporary fix is to cut a bit of that plastic, or sand out. maybe it will come thru.
But then afraid of letting the rail catch to the next plastic bit...
