Roaring Thunder S4

I have followed Audizine for a while now, always reading & searching about my interests in the S4. I posted once when I first got my car over a year ago, but a lot has changed since then. I have learned so much from this forum through all the members & vendors. After a years worth of modifications, I Just wanted to share with everyone my S4.


A little background on my car: 2012 Ibis White, DSG, Prem+ . I bought in in summer of '15 with 48k Miles. She was 100% stock when I received her.
Currently my car has 64k Miles. Full mod list Below:

Mustang Dyno ---> 379AWHP/353TQ
Quarter Mile time ---> 12.228 @ 113mph

Reason for naming the thread Roaring Thunder S4, is the full wrap on my S4 is a new Colorflow series (showcased at SEMA) from Avery Dennison. The Color is Called Roaring Thunder.

My S4 was wrapped as a part sponsorship by Limelight Automotive in Rochester, NY. They did an absolute flawless job on the wrap.
All of my performance mods are done by RocEuro themselves, as I live about 15 mins from them and they are some of my buddies.

I am sure there are little things I am forgetting, I will edit and add them as they come back to me. I have attached some pictures, one from when she was bone stock and a bunch from how she looks right now. I know not everyone will like the color, but I am a Minnesota Vikings fan and I LOVE the purple. #SKOL

I'm not a big fan of the wrap color either.

Quattro on the crashbar looks sweet, especially since it matched the calipers!

Everything else is gorgeous. How long you keeping the wrap for?

It looks really good in the pictures where it is purple. Just looks bad in the darker ones where it is more brown.

Could just be the camera not giving it any justice.

Unfortunately I think flashy wraps like this belong more on Asian tuner cars. Would probably look better on a heavily modified Skyline, NSX, or the like.

I guess I'm one of the few that likes the wrap. May not be for everyone, but it looks good. Don't worry about it OP, the only way you would have gotten perfect kudos on here is if your outside was stock color with Black Optics package...

I see you added LED tail lights?! I'm guessing you meant LED license plate lights?

I would highly recommend adding sways, end links and upgrading your sub frame mount as next mods.

Obviously going for a statement with the paint job, personally, it's a bit too loud for me, but totally an opinion.

Also I have never been a huge fan of the strip of tint across the windshield, it never looks good to me, but again, preference.


Love the yellow calipers and quattro peeking through the grille, that pretty much saves the paintjob for me because it's the small attention to detail that makes it work.

Wheels ideally would be a gunmetal, it would make the yellow pop more. or maybe it's that the mirrors don't match the wheels, idk, something between the two, either everything (wheels, mirror) gunmetal, or stainless brushed.

That's how I knew you were my neighbor! ;) this shot was for my GTI for sale ad - now I'm onto the S4. We should meet up! Limelight tinted my windows, wrapped my window trim in gloss black and John at Roc Euro has helped me on a couple things as well!

Yes LED tail lights - i will edit to correct. But yes suspension is next, defiantly need to grab some sways & end links asap.

A quality wrap is going to cost you 2k-3k and a quality paint job can run anywhere from 5k and up . what i love about wraps is it protects your paint on your car without harming it, and if you get sick of a color you can change and not be out another 5k or more.

I was thinking about doing one of the "frozen" colors. I think it's just a fancy way of saying matte but there is a really cool red and a cool version of nogaro blue.

Those wheels have the wrong offset. They look completely flat faced but I have seen everyone else with the same wheels with some good concave look. I think the car would look a lot better with some more concave wheels and maybe in black. Silver doesn't go with the wrap color

I thinks it's because they're only 8.5" wide and not 9.5" wide like a lot of the other S4's with those same wheels. An inch can go a long way for making the concave a lot deeper

Not loving the color - like many here. That said, if I were in the market for a 12' S4 and didn't love the wrap, I would probably pay a little extra if the seller could prove the paint underneath is flawless.

Seeing as it didn't get wrapped until 3 years into the life of the car, maybe the paint isn't flawless under the wrap. My suggestion to OP - if you have a video of the car getting wrapped, keep it onhand. Buyers may be interested in seeing the condition under the wrap.
