    transmission oil leak?

Hi all, I'm wondering if someone can help me diagnosis this oil leak that keeps occurring on my car. So I noticed underneath the car, on the transmission part located near where the transmission filter is, there seems to be oil collecting on it even after I have wiped it clean. Any ideas?

Not entirely sure where you are talking about and I can't open the link because I'm on my phone, but check your vaccuum brake booster thingy they are prone to oil leaks. Big pancaky metal thing behind your hpfp

Yes, I have that problem too so I've researched it recently... it's called the brake vacuum pump and early revs are prone to leaking engine oil as it's engine oil hydraulically powered, current rev is H, part# 06D145100H... You can get used ones safely, as long as they are that Rev H they are revised to not have the leaking problem. Europa has good aftermarket Pierburg new for $150, which is the cheapest anywhere for new: https://www.europaparts.com/vacuum-p...5100h-oea.html

So that's if it's engine oil, if it's trans fluid then you have to figure out which trans rev you have too, there is split in the '06 model year. Then you can get the proper gasket to fix that, JHM has the cheapest trans service kits anywhere if you have a late '06+ and need the metal gasket, but to find it you have to search under B7 S4 for the model there, I was lucky someone sold their un-used kit in the classifieds here, here is the direct link if you have a late '06 or newer B7: https://jhmotorsports.com/shop/catal...h=21_56_61_105
