A Very Stealthy, Very Quick SQ5 // TAG Motorsports x AWE x GIAC

We just wrapped this SQ5 project up for another very happy client of ours. Initially the plan was just to give this car a few very minor aesthetic upgrades. As I am sure all of you who have been bitten with the "Mod Bug" know.... that can never happen that way.

After talking a bit with the client and deciding to utilize our complete TAG Motorsports blackout Package, we also decided on adding a little color pop. What better than to do that with the OEM calipers behind a black wheel in the classic Brembo Red? With this very stealth, race inspired look, we knew that further steps were necessary. We had to mate the bite to the bark.

That said, we went ahead with the always fantastic AWE touring exhaust featuring diamond black tips. The sound and performance from the piece is fantastic. To finalize the needed power gains, we also added GIAC's stage 2 ECU Software and Supercharger Pulley Combo. Needless to say, this SQ5 is an absolute blast to drive!

How difficult is it to remove the emblems without damaging anything? The adhesive is always a pain to get off of the paint.

Great to see this as this is my color and I'm headed down the exact same path. Looks like the rear diffuser is satin, is that right? I'm thinking of doing mine in gloss block.

I'm in love with the Volk G25 that Mops recommended. I think it would finish my car off nicely. now that I see the blacked out look, makes me think I'm going to need ecodes

With proper trim tools and an adhesive eraser/ buffing tool not bad at all!

The diffusor is in fact painted Satin black. Gloss could look great as well! And yes, Ecodes are a great option. We stock them as well, and will make you a deal unlike anyone!
