How do we confirm a build date?

Greetings. We placed an order for a 2017 Audi S6 Misano Red about a month ago. It's a factory spec order. We've done these in the past (2010 Audi S4, 2011 Audi Q5). Previously, when we contacted Audi Customer service with the commission number (which we have in hand), they provided projected build dates, ship dates, etc.

Apparently, Customer Service no longer has this visibility?

Anyone know the best way to get this info now?

I had the same experience. I ordered my S6 on 09.13.16 and didnt receive a commission number until a month later. Even with the CN, they couldn't give me a estimated build/delivery date 6 weeks after ordering. Got a call 2 weeks ago from my dealer, estimated delivery timeframe is last week of March - first week of April...part of me died inside. But I did order Audi Specialty Paint which I'm sure delayed my build time.

Your salesperson should be able to pull up the information. I do it all the time with my customers who order vehicles
