How loud is an APR down pipe and stage 2 tune?

With everything else being stock. I can't find a youtube video (audio) that gives me a good idea of what the car will really sound like. I really want my 12 A4 to be a sleeper with no (overly) overt indications of mods. This is my daily driver and I do drive clients around once in a great while - not that they would care..

Any links or audio files out there I could have a listen to?

It is not loud at all under 4k rpm and normal driving. Under high rpm it is a little bit loud but nothing to worry about. Wife will be happy.

instead of a full downpipe( which replaces the front resonator) I put just a high flow cat on with stage 2( get most of the performance still), and its barely louder, you wouldn't know it wasn't stock unless u looked under the hood noise wise....

Quick question about stage 2 for anyone here whose already done it, do you need a larger inter cooler to go with the HFC? My local shop is saying it's highly recommended if I want to upgrade.

Need it? No but it will help power. Expensive though. I think your local shop may highly recommend it because it will take them several hours to do the work ($$$). Or maybe they just want you to go faster...

I am very pleased with the sound while driving. On the gas hard above about 3300 rpms and it makes a very nice, deep howl. Not at all raspy or juvenile sounding. I am also quite happy with the power gain which was the real reason for the work. Much better than I had expected given what I have read on here.

APT in Bethlehem PA did a very nice job.

What kind of magnaflow do you have? Just swapped out the muffler and tips? Any vids? Interested!
