2002 S6 Avant

Atlas Gray with black leather interior. 145k miles. Adult driven its entire life, non-smoker.
Only imported for two model years, one of approximately 900 imported to the United States for the 2002 model year.
All major maintenance has been performed. Have complete maintenance and repair history, with receipts, since original owner (I'm the 4th).

340 HP aluminum 4.2L V8 (Note: this is the old 40 valve 4.2 with a timing belt; not the newer, 32 valve 4.2 with a timing chain on the back of the engine)
5 speed Tiptronic (automatic) with sport mode
Quattro all wheel drive

Power tilt/sliding sunroof
Split 60/40 folding rear seat
Factory Bose stereo with 6 disc CD changer and aftermarket iPod interface
Alcantara headliner

Power tilt and telescoping steering column with heated steering wheel
One touch up/down on all four windows
Autodimming, heated, power folding mirrors

The following is intended to be an honest accounting of the vehicle's condition. Even though its been well cared for, it's still 15 years old.


Exterior condition:
Paint is in overall good condition, still looks shiny and fresh. Rock chips in the front bumper as to be expected for the age/mileage.
No dents or dings other than small ding in roof near antennae. Two small spots of paint bubbling from rust at bottom of window in rear hatch.
Stoneguard in front of rear wheels is somewhat discolored and cracked.


Interior condition:
No rips or tears in leather. Front drivers side outer bolster has what I would call character lines but no cracks. Small two inch scuff in middle of rear drivers side seat, no discoloration but rough to the touch.
No sags in headliner.
Some of the wood trim has stress cracks. Only really noticeable in bright, direct sunlight.
No wear on center stack buttons. Some paint wore off around headlight switch.
Center armrest has broken lid, won't stay closed if flipped up.
Both fold out cup holders work.
New floor mats and rubber cargo liner.


Wheels/tires:
17" RS4 style Andros wheels with 255/40 Contintental ExtremeContact DWS06 all season tires, installed at 138K miles.


Maintenance:
Timing belt, serpentine belt, and water pump replaced at 90k miles (service interval is 105k miles).
Transmission fluid and filter change at 50k and 120k miles.
Valve cover gaskets replaced at 120k miles.
New ignition coils and spark plugs at 130k miles.
Front brakes converted to Brembo brakes from Porsche Cayenne at 130k miles.
Rear brake rotors and pads replaced at 108k miles.
Transmission and rear differential mounts replaced at 133k miles.
Front suspension was completely rebuilt at 134k miles; new upper and lower control arms, new shocks, new springs, new outer tie rods, new sway bar end links, all rubber components replaced.
Rear suspension rebuilt at 135k miles; new shocks and shock mounts, new sway bar end links, rubber spring seats replaced.
New OE battery at 138k miles.
Front axles replaced at 140k miles.
Fuel Pump replaced at 141k miles.
Oil changed every 5k miles since I've owned it. Power steering and brake fluids have been flushed.


What doesn't work:
Power lumbar support in drivers seat. Electric motor works but something internally is detached.
Rear wiper works but not the rear washer pump.
Headlight washers have been deliberately disabled.


Modifications:
Original black door blades (the trim at the bottom of the doors) replaced by stainless steel blades from an Allroad by previous owner.
Front and back Inifiniti 2 ohm speakers to match factory speakers which were blown.
iPod adapter.
6 piston Brembo front brake calipers from a Porsche Cayenne with 13" slotted rotors from JH Motorsports. This is the only mechanical modification.
