    P3 Gauge

    Hey everyone. I just purchased a P3 Gauge and boost sensor from a fellow forum member. I also bought a B8.5 A/C vent from a scrap yard.

    Does anyone know how to install the Gauge in the vent and into the dash of a B8.5 S4? I'd rather not drive all the way to NGP. Willing to pay, just don't want to go nuts with an independent shop :laugh:

    Doesn't the B8.5 trim come off differently?

    I don't think so, I accidentally took one of my vents completely apart (when removing the gauge surround) because I have giant bear hands and it looks like they are identical to the b8. Take your time, and get a pair of tweezers or tiny needle nose pliers if you have said bear hands like I haha.

    Hey OP, this isn't as bad as you think... just block out a Saturday afternoon and take your time....

    I don't have a P3, but I have a Ecs vent boost gauge and similar install concept, I'm on Tapatalk so I can't see where you live at the moment, but if your close I'll gladly help out

    Its not that hard...just out tape over the remaining vent slats so they don't fall out as this will turn it into a pain in the a$$

    I think the 8.5 vent is not removable so you have to do it on the dash. Definitely tape the vents in place and tape those little metal things inside that make the vent go up n down. Don't let those fall out. Small needle nose help too.
