    How to avoid CEL for CAT codes on 2012 3.0?

    How can i avoid replacing the catalytic converters on a 2012 Audi A6 3.0 Supercharged? Car has check engine light on for catalytic codes. Can i do spacers or something? My state doesn't require emission tests or any bull crap just don't wan't see the light on the dash...

    There is an emission recall to correct this issue. The recall reprograms the ECU. This new program contains modified diagnostic parameters for the cats. The original parameters were to tight and was throwing a MIL indicating the cats were bad when in fact they were just fine.
