Can you remove it from the rear caliper and pull it through that way

I pulled mine by carefully taking a dremel to the plastic collar.

    Straight from my build thread.

There's a plastic clip here that keeps the parking brake in place. After 20 minutes of fiddling trying to get behind it, I decided to pry it off. Popped right off with some force.

To get it off the line, you cut it off. I won't be replacing this as I don't feel it necessary

Pass the parking brake cable through the hole

Then here you pass it through the secondary bracket

And it's free! You will have to break/cut this plastic piece at the rear of the arm as you won't be able pass it through the second bracket.

The plan is to daily the S4 before November then I can throw on my B7 RS4 rep winters and get proper summer tires later on

    Everything graciously mispelled by Android

Yes, break the clip, then break off a section of the parking brake cable to be able to slide it through the last hole. There's no other way to do it that I know of.

I've successfully run my car like that for over 1 yr and 30k+ km with the cables reattached without the clip. No issues there

Poly bushings? They'll start to squeak and you'll hate your life.

OEM Loemfoerder bushings aren't that expensive.

I'd like to know makes this kit. I don't buy things from BLAUPARTS because it looks cheap. Let us know how long these last you

most likely Meyle or a mix of Meyle, Lemforder and Febi. The upper rear control arm bushings as far as I know Meyle is the only one who makes them. Rockauto was wholesaler clearing a whole bunch a while back and I bought all of the remaining stock for $1.50 each. With the low demand for these parts I don't think there are any chinese garbage copies floating around anywhere which is why they're so expensive.

Lol @ bordem I think they won't squeak if you coat them the insides with copper lubricant

Yeah, short term. Eventually you have to take it apart again to lube it up. I'd think it's a 6month-1 yr service interval at least

Out of curiosity I contacted BLAUPARTS to find out who the manufacturer is on their kit and it is MEYLE.

as far as poly bushings, you're just tinkering. Yes they replace the bushing with full ball-bearings for race cars, but it's just a bit of deflection in the system -- it's not the biggest deal. The hastle with replacements and noise is very rarely worth it. As far as it drastically improving grip, hardly.

I've rocked poly bushings (and race rod ends), yeah they start squeeking after a while... personally I DGAF about squeeks/rattles. But I just didn't notice any real tangible difference. A long as the bushes are in decent condition you're good. My problem is they're a pita to install and they just don't really do much.
