    Maybe accumulated due to engine oil vapor. Wipe it and check after few days. Any leakage in the nearby area, like vacuum pump?

    Its the N205 control valve. It controls oil flow for use with variable valve timing on the exhaust cam. Generally, when oil leaks into the connector, it's time to replace it since it will probably fail and throw a CEL soon.

    On a side note, If you need a timing chain cover for some reason. If you buy the cover from the dealer it will come with a new 205 valve already ed on the cover

    Wouldn't be a knock off at ECS i very much doubt. Says Genuine and I doubt they would risk their reputation.

    I bought one super cheap off eBay and I haven't had any issues. I replaced mine preemptively. Had a code for it but turns out the connection was just loose. Had a bit of oil on it so I just replaced it anyway.

    Knock off lasted 1700 km. Sure it was $20 but you'll end up paying full price for a new unit or you'll get lucky and a friend will sell you a used unit for cheap. -1 for the cheap knock off. Not worth the money saved.

    Yep, N205 valve...just replaced mine with the OEM from ECS. Mine poured oil out of it when I disconnected it and I was also getting a P0016 code when I drove the car hard. I'm hoping this was the culprit...
