    Tire rotation question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a new 2017 Q5 and will be swapping out to winter tire / rims this week. I am not sure if I need to keep my tires in the same place when I put them back on, or if they need to be in a specific rotation. Neither set of my tires are directional.

    Thanks for your help.

If you're driving roughly the same amount of mileage on each set of tires when you swap, then I'd rotate them with each seasonal swap. Audi says to go front-to-back on the same side of the car.

It won't be...I only have about 1200 miles on this set. It sounds like I will just pick a mileage number, say 5,000, and then rotate them front to back, same side, per set.

    Thanks

I rotate front to rear when I swap sets. I think its recommended to keep the tires on the same side.
